Elizabeth Komachi Biography
Before joining The Meyer Partnership, Beth co-founded CharlesChase Group, a financial services boutique search firm where she was Head of the Asset/Wealth Management practice and specialized in senior level search mandates for clients that included traditional asset managers, boutique investment managers, hedge funds/alternatives and private equity firms. She also conducted numerous capital markets and banking searches while a Partner at the firm.
Prior to that Beth was a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles where she was a senior member of the firm’s Global Asset & Wealth Management Practice. Her areas of search expertise include leadership and senior-level mandates for Investments, Distribution and Infrastructure professionals.
Clients include global financial institutions as well as boutique, traditional and alternative/hedge fund/private equity investment managers. Beth’s prior search experience also includes five years as a Director with another boutique search firm where she led senior-level global searches in Capital Markets, Asset/Wealth Management and Banking.
Before her search career, Beth held management positions in commercial and retail banking with Shawmut Bank, FleetBoston and Bank of Boston. She began her career with Arthur Andersen & Co.
Beth holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy from University of Notre Dame. She also completed the Program for Management Development (PMD) at Harvard Business School and is an emeritus member of the Advisory Board of the HBS Alumni Association.
